We have a number of producers who grown and produce organic and biodynamic products. Many of our value-added producers cater for specific dietary needs.
You can search for a list of producers via specialty here.
If you are a primary producer in South Australia selling edible produce, we would love to hear from you!
Please note, there is a waitlist for value-added products at the Market, however we encourage you to complete the checklist and if your product meets the criteria, please complete an online Expression of Interest form. More information on becoming a stallholder is available here.
We are a farmers' market, therefore we don't have stalls selling arts and crafts.
There are currently 15 farmers' markets in South Australia (as at September 2013).
The first South Australian farmers' market started in 2001 a short distance from the popular Mclaren Vale wine district, 45 minutes south of Adelaide. The Willunga Farmers Market was opened by passionate foodie, Zannie Flannagan. Five years later in October 2006, Zannie started the city-based farmers' market at the Adelaide Showground in Wayville.
All farmers' markets are independently managed, but the farmers' market community is close with many stallholders selling at more than one market. The management teams also keep in touch regarding general market issues.

The Australian Farmers’ Market Association define a farmers’ market as a ‘predominantly fresh food market that operates regularly within a community, at a focal public location that provides a suitable environment for farmers and food producers to sell farm-origin and associated value-added processed food products directly to customers’. Use of the term ‘value-added’ implies that producers process goods in some way to increase the amount they can charge for them, for example making chutney, jam, pastries, bread, or smallgoods.
