The Gawler Farmers' Market officially opened on Saturday, 30 January 2016 and brings together some of the best locally grown and made produce, and will operate every Saturday morning (8am – 12pm) from the Gawler Visitor Information Centre car park (the corner of Murray St and Lyndoch Rd, Gawler).
Featuring more than 30 stallholders, the market includes plenty of regular activities to keep the whole family entertained, including cooking demonstrations and kids’ activities.
The market showcases fresh, seasonal South Australian produce, sold directly from farmers and producers to the local community. There's a diverse mix of meats, fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts, jams and chutney, breads and smallgoods available.
The Gawler Farmers’ Market has been established through a partnership between the Town of Gawler council and the Adelaide Farmers’ Market. This project has been supported by the Government of South Australia's Regional Development Fund.
