Low impact wild seafood company delivering a variety of saltwater and freshwater species that highlights the unique and important ecosystem.

Glen and Tracy Hill founded Coorong Wild Seafood in 1993. Based in Meningie, Glen’s office is South Australia’s Coorong. This beautiful wetland bionetwork stretches 200km from Encounter Bay to Lacepede Bay.

Coorong Wild Seafood prides itself on offering the best seafood the Coorong and lakes have to offer. They deliver a variety of saltwater and freshwater species, highlighting this unique and important ecosystem.

Glen uses low impact fishing methods, so the future of the Coorong is protected. Because of their sustainable fishing practices and world-first Environmental Management Plan, Coorong Wild Seafood has been internationally recognised.

Along with looking after the Coorong, the Hills gives back to their community through employment for a small team of local deckhands and fishermen. Glen and Tracy take pride in the local industry, so they serve on several committees and promote the industry at festivals and special events around Australia.

Coorong Wild Seafood cellar door and visitor centre in Meningie offers a range of experiences. Visit to experience behind the scenes factory tours, filleting demonstrations, cooking classes and seafood-themed events.
