Family owned fruit orchards since 1917.

Pomology @ Tarrawood is one of the most diverse horticultural operations in South Australia with a mix of seasonal apples, pears, avocados, lemons, limes, kiwi fruit and also tangelos.

The Brockhoff family have been growing fruit in the Adelaide Hills since 1917. Joel Brockhoff runs the 58 hectare property in partnership with his father Peter. The Brockhoffs grow fruit trees and sell their fruit at the weekly markets.

Apples make up 90 per cent of the production along with a few pears, some avocados, kiwifruit and citrus. The majority of apple trees growing are mainstream eating varieties but they also have a few older English varieties.

Find Pomology @ Tarrawood stall outside the pavilion at the Adelaide Farmers’ Market every Sunday.
