Freshly picked Adelaide Hills strawberries

Lucy and Hamilton Walker have been growing strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries for over 25 years. The Walkers run one of Australia’s largest strawberry farms, with over two million plants on their 400 acre property at Mylor in the Adelaide Hills.

Passionate about keeping up to date, Walkers constantly source the best new plant varieties for their farm. Pesticide use is limited through the use of integrated pest management; an environmentally friendly system which uses predatory mites to control unwanted bugs in the fields. Walkers choose not to give their fruit any post picking chemical dips, sprays or washes so it  comes to you absolutely fresh from the farm. 

The Walkers also make a range of juices and jams. You can visit the farm shed at Mylor is open seven days a week from October to May.

You will find Walker Family Farm at the Farmers’ Market every Sunday during strawberry season (late October to May).
